Those plugs wold work fine for that car. When I think fully built I think alumin heads, custom cam, gen-v or larger blower, diamond pistons balanced rotating assembly, etc....
 


Iridium plugs are made of a tougher compound than copper, they usually have a fine point tip to them and therefore the tip gets hotter. Getting a hotter spot in the cylinder means the chance of predetonation is more likely.
