Auto Headlights

This is something I've wondered about since I bought this car. Apparently it didn't come with DRLs, because the lights are never on during the day. However, there is no way to tun the lights off automatic. The control knob has 3 settings, (off, park, on) but if it is dark out, the switch basically does nothing because the lights are always on no matter what you select. Now that I have halos I would like to be able to turn the low beams off at night, when not moving of course. Is there any way to do that? I've never encountered a car before with auto headlights that could not be overridden using the switch.

sub'd. I've talked to booba about this before he mentioned something about wiring in a resistor instead of the light sensor. I'll wait for him to chime in.

I forget which year starts not being able to just pull the auto headlights fuse. But that's an option for the older ones.

Nah, i removed the heat sink for the DRLs, removed the DRL fuse and unplug 1 connector under the dash. Lemme grab my video

I didn't either but I've been using it for a while now and haven't noticed any ill effects. I think it might disable light flash when lock/unlocking but im not sure
