Audio Interface Ordeal....

I have an '06 Grand Prix Base model sedan and I want to add a double din DVD/CD/NAV/SAT/WIFI head unit.
My question is this: I went to the website www.the12volt.com to look up the audio specs and read that I'm going to need two separate Interfaces for the head unit and also for my steering wheel audio controls.
I went to www.metraonline.com and saw 15 different interfaces for this specific GP.
Long story short, which damn one do I need?
There is only one for the steering wheel audio controls, so I ordered it, but which of the 15 interfaces do I need for the head unit?
Better yet, can someone PLEASE give me a list of everything I'll need to install this head unit.
This is the head unit model: Pioneer AVH X2800 Navigation unit.
Thanks everyone in advance for the help.

I sure will. I'll go ahead and do a complete write up on my audio build once it's complete.

One of the main issues if you haven't already read is that it doesn't matter which interface you go with people are reporting issues with U1000 codes (loss of com on the data lines) and sometimes they lose the speedo or all the gauges. Some people have them work for a year others never get them working properly. Some say "I've never had an issue", then a month later start asking "what could be wrong"

Use GMOS01 for cars with no amplifier, GMOS04 for a car equipped with an amplifier. the dash kit 95-3527 for the double din.
I have had mine for a few months now and no issues to report. I have the GMSO01 on my 06 GT with an Alpine double din and the ASWC-1 steering wheels controls.
