So, the other day I was in Bay City picking up my brother in the wife's regal. On the way out to US10 I see this gold GP and this ricer Audi (late 90's/early 2000's) blacked out with rims, body kit, looked fast. Well he blows by the GP with the sagging rear end and rusty wheel wells so I decide im not letting this dude think hes something special. We line up at the light by admiral going out of town when I see a state boy so I let the Audi pull ahead a bit.. Once on 10 (about 40) he slows down next to me like he wants to go. SO he punches it I smash the peddle and the regal opened up like a boss. I past this guy like he hit reverse and fast. Well I slow down to see if he wants another shot at it he cuts over both lanes (he was in the fast lane) and gets off on the very next exit.

Now the wife wants to sell it and get an Acadia. After racing it I'm keeping it and parking it behind my GTP for my next build since its from Utah. She just don't know it yet.:D
 


haha nice. What kinda audi was it? Guessing youre stock? bet that audi had no idea what this regal was about.

Not sure as im not in the Audi scene TBH it looked like an A4 but who knows I can only guess. My brother is like no way your eating an Audi cause it did look pretty bad. Thing is guy spent all that money on looks and nothing on performance I guess. Either way My brother and I laughed our A#@'s off as we blew this guy out of the water.

Yea it's all stock N/A so I was suprised on how well it responded to WOT. Being in Michigan I can't see getting rid of this car flawless body so it would be a great place to start a build.
 


Audi's are NOT that fast although I thought he would take me for sure. I had no clue I would pull on him. I see him around Bay city when im there next time I will get a pic of the car.

Also alot comes into play such as driver error. young kid probably didn't down shift who knows all I know is I was gone.

I'm saying a 1.8T, slushbox with heavy wheels might not be that fast.

I was saying more along the lines of I know how slow the N/A Regal is.

Ttransporter as in the movie done on a close course and the car never seen anything above 60 yea I seen it.

Regals are slow thats why even I was suprised. But a kill is a kill and I will take it. Sorry for the guy who didnt shift properly or what have you driver error sucks sometimes and tha t could have been the case. Or hes never took care of the car or it was slower then my regal, either way I won.

Not really sure like I said could have been driver not shifting right whatever. I was surprised as well although I never raced this regal before that it's the wife's car, So I was even like wtff. Not saying all Audi's are slow by no means smaller 1.8's maybe. My brother even laughed when I came up next to him like ok bro not gonna happen. So I was just as shocked when i passed him like he was still and yes he was on it for sure that fart can was rumbling
 
I defiantly buy it when my gtp was down one cylinder .( the rod wasnt even connected to the crank ) I had to drive it to my shop and a friend followed me in my 1.8 t and he pulled up next to me trying to race .. Funny thing is I still beat him by like a car .
