• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I'm in on the 10th. It will be the last time the GTP is out until the Branson Show. I'm repainting it so it will get noticed, new rims/tires, carpet, hood, some interior stuff, stereo, DVD, 2 tv's nav system, (maybe)....

Rick

I wont be able to go to the 10th as I am working....but I am down for Sunday!

fantastic....i've talked to quite a few guys that are comin' and possibly this girl from Rockford that has an 11 second twin turbo 3800 powered camaro will hopefully show, I'm dying to see her car run...so let's hope this goofy weather cooperates as this day is gonna be a blast.... by the way my youngest daughter is turning 9 on the 13th, and so far she wants to go to the track....so as long as she don't change her mind, I will definately be there...so if I meet you and she's with me, tell her happy birthday..... and if she does decide to stay home, I'm still gonna try and come up till at least noon.

nice RPM lol whats instore for her is she currently stock?

Joe, just cosmetic on this one. Stereo, tv's, carpet and other interior stuff. The outside is getting halo's, cowl hood from VPN Fiberglass, rims, and a wicked two tone paint job to showcase our work at local shows and the BGPM. The only mod I have is a dynomax cat back. Where can I go around here to get the computer tuned?

Over the winter I am planning a complete ground up build on a two door GTP with all the mods.

I just bought a soda blaster and I'm going to spin the two door upside down and go nuts on it. It will take a few weeks to get here and build the booth but the wait will be worth it.

Though this is not a sanctioned got3800 event, From 5:30 to 7 O'clock, George Barris (Creator of the BATMOBILE, as well as other 1960's iconic automobiles) will be at Mulligan's Saloon on Route 31 in McHenry. Everyone who can come is welcome. The show is free as always, but gas to get there will cost an arm and a leg. I hope to see you there.

ALL CARS ARE WELCOME...and JFYI...when he came out last year, he stayed until about 10:00 p.m.

Hey all,

Well things have been figured out for the Dyno Day 2008. The event will be held on September 27th (2008) and we shall be hosted by Finish Line Performance in Naperville, IL. Cost for this event will be $65 for two (2) pulls on their dyno. The $65 dollars will also get you both breakfast and lunch for the day, a laminated dyno sheet of your 2 pulls for the day, and i personally will be throwing in a got3800.com vinyl decal for free. Now, we need 25 cars for this event to take place and i want you all to show up and bring your 3800 (or not) friends along to this. This event is open to all cars/makes/models.

Date: Saturday, September 27, 2008

Time: TBA

Location:
Finish Line Performance (details can be found at the site below):
24137 W. 111th Street - Unit M
Naperville, IL 60564
http://www.flpmotorsports.com

As far as payment goes, we must have money for 25 cars (AKA this event will cost got3800.com $1625). I do not want to collect money early, but please be 100% that nothing will come up and that you will have off work before you tell me yes. If you do not show up and told me you were, i get screwed out of $65 (and no one wants that). So if you are for sure in, please just post a yes/hell yes/you couldn't keep me away if a tornado went though and ill get your point....thanks all and i hope to see you there!!!

Any questions please either post on this forum or email me ([email protected]) before contacting FLP (Finish Line Performance). Thanks!

He made the 2002 Trans Am WS6! WOW! :D

can they do 25 cars(2 pulls each) in one day?

To answer your questions here is what the event host states:

"As far as the amount of cars. 25-30. As far as setting up a car, it all depends on the car... but usually from the time of putting it on the dyno, strapping it down, hooking up the wide band O2, sensors, and doing the pull... probably 10-15 minutes. But everyone needs to be here... we can' afford to wait around for people to show up. The dyno graph will be hp, tq, and air/fuel. I don't know what dyno that we would use for the dyno day... I guess it all depends. If we have a number of people that want to see boost levels, we would use our new dyno which has the boost sensor. You have to let me know how many people what to scan their cars... will go from there. As far as videos, you are more that welcome to take videos. We will be taking pics and videos of the event as well. Breakfast... coffee, juice, doughnuts, etc. Lunch would more than likely be pizza and pop... maybe a bbq. No spectator charge. "
