• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

-15.5/0.295
-15.6/0.410
-15.5/0.449
-15.6/0.672
-15.3/0.604

Im pretty happy I was able to do 15.3 In a stock GT with just a CAI

that was my friday night lol

thanks, ill work on it, but if i take off on the last yellow i tried it and it turned out that i jumped the start

Rule of thumb is...when the third yellow light comes on...hit the gas...because by the time you think to hit the gas...and power gets to the ground...the light has already turned green. What were the traps and 60 foots? That's all we care about :p

Ill try it next time i go :th_winking:
the 60 foots are
1--> 2.517
2-->2.441
3-->2.351
4-->2.392
5-->2.402
6-->2.463
7-->2.340
8-->2.325

explain to me why are does the important part?
noob talking here loll

I hate the fact that I make those same times here at 5,200 feet but with a GTP on a 3.4 setup =/
ohhh that sucks, :th_shakinghead2:

every .1 you shave off your 60ft is .2 tenths in the 1/4 (general rule of thumb)

a decent 60ft on a street night w/ street tires is 2.0-2.1
drag radials sub 2.0 (1.9's,1.8;s)
slicks 1.7 60 ft or better

so if you ran your 15.3 with a 2.3 60 ft that tells you that your car has more in it..IF you can launch it better that is. your car has a 15 flat in it..just gotta work on finding that sweet spot when you take off :th_thumbsup-wink:

ways to better your 60ft are:

good street tires, drag radials, slicks
higher rear springs to put my weight on the drive wheels
less rotational mass ie lighter wheels, lighter brakes etc.

you need to launch the car at a RPM in which the car can hook with minimal wheel spin, every car at dif mod levels is dif so theres general rule of thumb.

also, you dont want to do a full on burnout on street tires..unlike radials/slicks street tires grip LESS when heated..you just want to blip the throttle to clean the tires of rocks/dirt. you want to stay out of the waterbox as well or you will get terrible 60ft as well.

HV3 insert/ER rockers/3" downpipe/tune and youll be able to hang with a stock GTP ;) hope some of this helps bud

I bet if he learns to drive it, gets a DP, tune, and just a HV3...alone it should be a mid to high 14's car considering the conditions.
