• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

As of 2009...

An exabyte (EB) is a large unit of computer data storage, two to the sixtieth power bytes. The prefix exa means one billion billion, or one quintillion, which is a decimal term. Two to the sixtieth power is actually 1,152,921,504,606,846,976 bytes in decimal, or somewhat over a quintillion (or ten to the eighteenth power) bytes. It is common to say that an exabyte is approximately one quintillion bytes. In decimal terms, an exabyte is a billion gigabytes.

An exabyte of storage could contain 50,000 years' worth of DVD-quality video.

Yeah wow...why did I wait for one of these.

Even when running on a 5 year old laptop with Sata 1.5, this ***** FLIES!

I'm going to upgrade the Laptop soon
I'm between
Asus N53SV
or
Lenovo W510

Both will have an i7 core, mid range graphics card, and 1080 screen (seeing as 1920x1200 doesn't seem to exist anymore in 15" laptops)

I just don't know if I can leave Lenovo, I have a strong affection for Metal core laptops now.

amd rocks in low voltage applications like laptops. just sayin.

Oh yeah I am a full on AMD humper. I run it in all my desktop setups. See my back window on my car:

but I want screen real estate and all AMD laptops have to offer is a junky 1368x768 resolution and that is just not acceptable. Hell even 1920x1080 on a 15" is not acceptable. Seems the last of the 1920x1200 15" laptops died out with the W500.

My desktop monitors are super high resolution for 23" monitors...2048x1152. This 1080 crap is getting out of hand.
