My 03 Tacoma has a 2.4l 4 banger with a little less hp than some tricycles, but I did add a B&M shift handle. Not the shifter, just the handle. I suppose that makes me rice.

On the other hand, I added it because it is much more comfortable to hold and I spend A LOT of time in the truck.
