Are My Gen V Rotors Bad?

Took apart my Gen V to do some cleaning of the case and to give her some fresh fluids and grease.

I know not to clean the rotors.

120K miles

Are these rotors good? Can't tell if this is normal.

I don't want to have leaks.

The coating is going to come off eventually. Unless it's brand spanking new expect the normal wear and tear from them. If your losing psi then you need to look elsewhere like check for vacuum leaks etc. and gen v rotors aren't easy to come by so you'll probably end up having to buy a used gen v which will probably have the same wear and tear.

Point is don't worry about it.
 
I never clean the oily build up off of the rotor or the inside of the case where they spin, I believe it helps close the gaps and build more boost. It is normal with higher miles to start losing coating.

Yours look good not great, I would keep running. Grease rear bearings and check front snout bearings. Put it together with new oil and coupling.
 
those are pretty good looking rotors imho. Obviously their not going to look brand new, but I've seen some where the teflon coating has flaked off pretty bad in spots. Even on relatively low mile blowers.
