600 +/- 100 depending on where you sell it. its a nice build, not that much older than mine (i also haz gtx 260). i personally hate laptops. keyboard are very uncomfortable, they heat up like crazy. id just upgrade and get a netbook if i needed somethig portable.

Hmm well that pally is so tempting although I dont think you can transfer toons across acounts can you?

You can actually i think... go to your battle.net account, there is a "merge account" thing that should allow you to add toons from your "other" accounts. Read up on it and see if it will allow it, never done it so I can't say 100% that will work

Quite respectable.... I feel like a uber nerd. I started about the middle of Wrath. I currently have a 85 gnome rogue (ilvl339), 85 NightElf DK (ilvl334), 85 Drenei Priest (ilvl 348) and then 3 other sub lvl 30 toons

Oddly enough I DO have a GF that lives with me, we DO go out and be sociable, and I DO work 40+ hrs a week, and manage to have time to sleep while playing the game.... Im awesome:th_laugh-lol2:

I amy have several 80+ toons... all were ICC geared... yes I too have a gf and go out a ton

Intel is the processor of champions my friend. Get the new Sandy bridge i7. Will rape everything AMD can bring to the table currently. And best of all its only $300. Which is fairly cheap for A. an intel processor. and B. for an i7 thats so freaking amazing.
My laptop im running right now is an Alienware M15x. Set me back $1800 but i got a 1920 by 1080p display, whole keyboard can light up and change colors. Great audio system built in. GTX 260m graphics card. 4 gigs of ram running at 1444. intel i7 720 processor. Also some extras included are a great warranty, customer service is amazing (used it twice and they speak ENGLISH!!! Plus all you do is tell them your problem and its gone.) You also get a stealth mode in which everything is clocked down to save on power. Facial recognition. and a great wireless card.

Friend of mine bought a Asus laptop with the same processor, 6 gigs of ram at 1066 speed. And a better graphics card for around $1600. But after only 8 months his left side fan (I think the graphics cards side.) just died for no reason. He can no longer play games currently because it will automatically shut down on him. Plus his facial recognition refuses to work.
So with this experience I would say go for Alienware. You will never look back on it. And the chicks absolutely love em. I can make the outside of the keyboard "bleed" colors towards the center and they freak out! lol.

Alienwares are expensive name brand dells.... not worth the money for the name brand. My dell laptop from 4 years ago still runs WoW not like a champ but it does it lol. And Ive never had one issue with it that I didnt cause

Fairly cheap for an INTEL yes.... if you want the more expensive brand, intel is the best choice. AMD is best bang for your buck. I spent $300 on my AMD AM3 565 3.4 DUAL CORE which is OC'd currently to 3.8, and my MSI 870 Fuzion board unlocked the other 4 cores making it a 3.8 QUAD CORE pushing 4 gb of 1600 DDR3 ram.... you bought a processor.... a nice processor but just the processor... I built my tower complete with 2 TB of hard drives and a GTS 250 GPU for right at a grand and I over paid on alot of it. For that in intel you would almost double it. The comparing intel board and CPU is 3xs what i got my AMD for, and they'll both pushout the same FPS on the games I play so I will save my money and keep on with my AMD pos :th_thumbsup-wink:

I love Alienwares, like I love Ferrari's. The are beautiful, elegant, and breath taking machines... but for alot less I can get the Asus G53JW series Laptop and be just as happy... again with my best bang for your buck.

Not arguing best overall... just not in the financial setup to where I can just blow money away because I have to the best most expensive thing. I can get by with something thats cheaper that will get me almost the same results. In all reality you will not be using a computer enough within the next 3-4 yrs to have to have more than 4gbs of ram if you get DDR3 1333s or better, multitasking in Linux or Win7 is prioritized well enough you just wont need it 90% of the time. And like stated earlier, 6 cores are basically just for "say so", you barely use the 4th core much less 5 or 6 so why. 90% of the time I dont even utilize 100% of 1 and 2 much less 3 or 4 :th_laugh-lol2:

Decisions decisions.... Sigh. :th_laugh-lol2:
