Anyway to get the rust out

Got a 99 Silver coupe. Think the real color is Silvermist Metallic. I love the color but she's starting to rust a little bit. Is there anyway to prevent it or maybe getting the rust out? Of course I'm talking budget ways also....I'm a college student. Gotta save money some how.

well if he's going to just sand it down to the steel and spot puddy it and paint it...than just drive it till it rusts out and buy a new one...which would take a bigger budget

drive it until you have enough money to buy a new GP. they are so cheap now and EVERYWHERE.

what body panel is rusting? you could possibly buy another panel thats not rusting..

Wet sanding will not get rid of rust. It is ment just to take scatches out of the clear coat not remove paint/rust.

rust repair isnt cheap And its best to do it right or not at all

I think I'm just gonna save up and get a newer one. I really want a GTP coupe so that's what I save up for. Thanks guys though!
