Anyone Using LED bulbs in eBay Headlights?

I know, they suck, but I like the way they look. I just need them to be brighter.

Anybody using LED headlight bulbs in theirs?

I've heard LED Headlights are not great from some people and that they're awesome from others.

I figure the housings on the eBay Headlights might not project the beams properly but any improvement would be appreciated

LED's are not quite there yet. They may look cool but they can't put the light down, especially in our crappy lights.

We did a comparison in one of our old work trucks a while back. 2001 GMC 1500 with HID's in the stock housings; swapped in LED bulbs. Meh was the outcome. Not bad light up close, but nothing good past 10-15'.

Some people do say LED's are the best, but remember, some people also say that GE Silver Stars or whatever they are called are the best, and we know that isn't true. LOL

Haha word up. Gotcha man, thanks!

I just recently put LED headlights in my stock (aftermarket oem) headlight housings and the light output is good. The light projects as far, or slightly farther, than the Silverstars in there previously.
