i might paint mine...idk if your supposed to use special paint, or just spray paint...and btw, the 97 engine covers are the same as the 04 monte covers haha...

less heat trapped in your engine.

it blocks engine noise IMO...ive tried with it off, sounds louder/more annoying

I have considered painting mine. I am gonna wait till i see a really good paint job and copy it.
