My 03 GTP has sputtering issues at WOT over 4000 rpm and the SES light only stays on and blinking while I'm at WOT; hence not enough time to go to Auto Zone and get the code read. Plugs are a month old and I just replaced the the wires and coil packs. Air filter and MAF are next but it would be great to get the code read to help track down this problem, thanks.
 


blinking SES means a misfire. a big one. you will see that if you get the car scanned, it just wont actually light the SES. it will be stored in the background.

i could possibly help you out, but my time restrictions are pretty horrid.
 
When it firsted happened a couple weeks ago I knew there was a miss and the light stayed on after blinking; the whole car would shake. Miss on #4. Changed wires and it went away. Week later it came back, but to a lesser extent. Changed coils and it went away. Now it's back to a lesser extent again, but still spitting at 4000 rpm + at WOT. Doesn't feel like a huge miss, it's just off and slowly climbs past 4000k with some vibration.

Going to try cleaning the MAF today.

I also replaced the fuel filter and plugs are gapped at .054.
