anyone know anything about snowmobiles?



what about modding a sled? if you ever hear a modded sled youll know it. they are LOUD. that is why i never piped my sleds because its just so damn loud. other than exhaust there isnt a ton to do to sleds besides changing gearing, studs, better skis, lowering it, etc.

i havent had a newer sled though ever. the sled im running is a mid 80s polaris indy 650. it hauls for what it is, but anyone with a newer sled will out run and out handle me. i ride hard and have done my fair share of jumps and flipping my sled over, but anyone with anything newer would probably show me up.

you could maybe run some nitrous? if youre good enough maybe a turbo? anything can be done with enough time and money. my dad/uncle transplanted a crotch rocket motor (believe it was an old 900cc kawi motor) and changed the throttle to a twist grip. put some wheelie bars on that thing and put more studs than you can even think of on the track and the thing ran 9.13 in the 1/4 on ICE. it was a cool project, but they only ran it for a season or two.
 
yea i got a 1990 arctic cat and its really slow i just want to get a little bit more power out of it. its a 440 and im to big for it
