Anyone have the ZZP TOG style dp?

I need to know what's up here, I"m looking at this thing and scratching my head.....I ordered one for the ZZP headers I bought off of TDC, and I get this in the mail. Seems to me that the cat back flange is not positioned right, I know that the flange for the header side is right, but this just doesn't seem right to me. Does anyone else have this style that can verify for me? Because I'm not going to fight putting this thing on, this just doesn't look like it's going to work IMO.

Man, I must be smokin', because I really don't think mine is.......I'll have to mock it up I guess. I could swear by looking under there (and I've been under there plenty of times) that it was straight across. hmmmm

Yeah, I just crawled under the car to have a better look, I guess it's right, I just never paid that close attention to that area of the exhaust. LOL

When I got my DP I thought the same thing. I installed it off faith and saw that it lined up. Not sure why GM felt like doing that, but for some reason it made sense...

It doesn't make sense to me at all. I'll be outright honest.

I have had a ZZP DP. And it was not aligned correctly. Every time i would unbolt the DP from the catback I would have to take one side of the exhaust off of the hangers just for the bolts to lign up.

And the exhaust (if you look at it from the rear) was cocked to one side. Because of all the pressure on that side of the exhaust.


The ZZP DP i bought from ZZP that came with the ZZP headers(tog style-the same style brian bought) had this problem....The other DP that i bought from ZZP DID NOT have this problem and bolted right up



Brian you can tell me i'm wrong and urge you to do so...But i can almost promise you will have the same issue i did.
