Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Anyone have experience with this DP?

I've never even heard of that before. I would be a little weary. maybe search around for other opinions, or just get one from the vendors we already know, lol.

Never heard of them. It doesn't tell you what diameter the DP is, what grade of steel nor what type of flex is being used. fwiw interlocking flex is the preferred flex, due to the fact it does not tick like the other flex joints.

I dunno. Supposedly I have an interlocking flex on my ZZP DP and it ticks... :th_depressed:

I have a Hogan DP with the interlocking flex and it doesn't tick. I got my son the same DP for his GTP and it doesn't tick. I was one of the first people that got the interlocking flex from Curt Hogan, when he decided to give the new flex a try. I didn't like my first DP, because it had the standard flex and it ticked, so I hit Curt up about making me one with interlocking flex. It took him a while to find a supplier, but once the new DP came in with the new flex, I was very pleased.

Did you look a the DP flex before you installed it? Visually there is a difference, but with the braid on, it can only be seen from the inside. Maybe they sent you the wrong one.

According to ZZP, they only carry 2.5" interlock flex (not standard 2.5" flex) so all their 2.5" DPs get the interlock flex. I did look inside and if you showed me comparison pictures between the two I could tell you which I have.

This is what it looks like:

Regular Flex

The regular flex has woven Stainless Steel inside and out, where the Interlock Flex has interlocking stainless steel belts.

Yes i've looked at all the Hogan performance ones and will probably buy from that store when i finally order this part, just was wondering the difference if any.

here is another site (amazon) with this part:

only thing that makes me wonder is A. unknown vendor B. material / flex quality.

oh and Hogan Performance also uses Magnaflow converters.

website @ magna flow showing this particular part:

I've got interlocking flex then. I remember seeing the concentric pieces when I looked inside it... Here's a pic of it (not inside, but whatever):

FWIW only the double walled regular flex had braid inside and out. Poor option.

The interlocking is silver and flat, where as the regular is more copper looking and the ring are round instead of flat.

I don't suppose it could cause knock in PE could it? :th_scratchhead:

I guess it depends on the the size of the "leak". I tcould make you run rich, because the O2 sensor thinks you are running lean. Although I've seen rich KR, I think you have to be REALLY rich to hit that threshold.
