So I have always wanted a bike. I was talking to a buddy that has a couple and he told me hes got an 04 125. I think he said yamaha yz125 if that sounds right? lol its in parts right now and he said it just needs a crank bearing. When I was talking to my other friend about buying it he said I should and that his dad can help put it in. Good investmeant? How hard is a crank bearing to put in? Does it have to be pressed?

if its a YZ125 most likely its a 2 stroke, you have to split the case to fix it witch inst an easy job alot of 2 stoke engine have this happen to them

Its hard to split the case? I was reading up that if you dont have a press you can heat up the case and put the bearings in the freezer and tap em in with a hammer.

two strokes like to go away. they just dont last and arent reliable if youre in constant ass whooping mode, which is 100% of the time when youre riding.
