Anyone ever run, or know anything, about these two tires?

I need four 'Y' rated tires by at least the end of September becuase I currently have plans on heading down to Goliad and running the Texas Mile in late October with my car when Scott Cook goes to run his G8. Should be one hell of a time to say the least. That is... one hell of a time if I don't end up blowing a tire off of the rim doing triple digits. :th_biggrin2:

I've picked out these two tires so far, and just want to know if any of you have ever one either one, or know how good they are? Also any tire suggestion any of you have would be greatly appreciated as well.

First off is the BFGoodrich g-force R1 drag radial-

Or secondly.. the BFGoodrich g-force T/A KDW 2-

Take in mind I'm going to be running these tires even after this event is over, but I don't care about tread life, or road noise. All I want if a good, solid tire.

all based on how often u'll be at the track compared to how u run it on the road. :)
unless it's strictly a drag car, i'd go with the T/A KDW. looks like a nice tire too.
I has Falken tires on mine

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. The car certianly isn't strictly limited to the track only, but then again it never gets driven in the rain or anything. Not to mention I have a second vehicle to drive so slicks on all four wheels wouldn't be too bad to deal with.

Bumped for more info.

I've sustained speeds of ~130MPH on my H-rated tires (which happens to mean they can take 130MPH sustained) for several minutes at a time with no sign of wear on the tires. I think as long as you get the right speed rating and are happy with the other qualities (wear characteristics, wet/dry traction, cornering, etc) then buy. :D
