• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Anyone Else Excited?

For the new Xbox 360 exploit? Achieves essentially the same thing as JTAG'ing, except it works on all units (except Xenon) with any dashboard version, including the new slim models. What's better? Microsoft can't fix the exploit through software updates, which means it's here to stay. Unless they somehow find a way to prevent it through hardware revisions on newer consoles (which is extremely doubtful, since the exploit is based off the inherent nature of the consoles' hardware).

PC gaming or GTFO.

Sorry, just had to. :th_laugh-pointup:

Seriously though, it means nothing to me. :th_wtf:

By Xenon you mean the newest 360 model out right now? If that's the case, then it doesn't interest me.

And what makes you so sure that Microsoft is unable to fix this through software updates? They fixed every exploit in the past using that method...

And they're how far from a new platform again?

"With the announcement of the Xbox 360 S, Microsoft have said that they believe that the console is only mid-way through its life-cycle and will continue through 2015." - E3, 2009

And Xenon is the first Xbox 360 motherboard Remnant King. This exploit works with the slim (Vejle).

They can't fix it through a software update because of the nature of the hack itself. It's a hardware hack (as opposed to all previous software exploits -- yes, traditional JTAG'ing & the King Kong exploit are software exploits) that exploits slight glitches in the way console operates at the physical level -- they would have to change the hardware in order to prevent the hack. If you really want to get into the nitty gritty here's a nice read: http://www.free60.org/Reset_Glitch_Hack

could care less. I had a jtag years ago, got bored of it. i just wanted a bigger hard drive and a possibility of keeping my games on the hdd instead of lugging them around

well honestly one thing i loved was creating my own car models or whatever else for the games, and modifying the settings, was kinda cool.
i remember having a Audi R8 in forza 3 that did 400mph

Okay, for those of us who are PC gamers and tend to neglect our consoles, what is the significance of what is taking place here? Just a single statement will do. Something like,"Before you couldn't ______, but now you can _______."

before it was harder to cheat, now it's easier, that's what I got.

I'll play my games the way they were meant to be played.

Before you couldn't run unsigned code -- custom applications, have hard drives larger than what Microsoft would release, unban consoles, play media in formats Microsoft won't program the Xbox to support, play installed games right off the hard drive with no disc...the list goes on; but now you can.

Anyone who uses JTAG'ing or anything else to cheat is a ****wad. Cheating is stupid and deserves no merit, rather a punch to the nose. I mod for fun and convenience, I would never cheat.

and now the xbots will feel the pain the psn has this year... lets see how this works out

hackers find way to mad haxor console
microsoft finds lead haxor and sues him
xbox live gets super mega haxored for f*ckin with the haxors
