Considering these tires.

Just wondering if anybody has heard any good or bad things about these. I can get them for a pretty good price and it seems that they also work good in the snow. I dont plan on using the GXP too much in the snow but I gotta have all season tires just in case. I know there are better options out there but these seem good for the money. My other option was the kuhmo ecsta lx platinum but for about $150 for the whole set.
 


i personally like general tires, but those are a pretty new set. you're going to have a hard time finding reviews since they haven't been around for long.
 
I was looking at those last month when I got tires. I ended up going with falken pt722's because they were just as cheap and a 600 treadwear. Plus I hate hate directional tires.

Where did you buy your set? Cheapest i found for those falken was 418 for the front and the generals are 330.

Yea i saw them now. I plan on keeping the stock sizes, what size are you running. How do you like them?
 


Yea I was still fixing my post when you responded. I got them in a 255/45 17 for my 99. They are pretty sweet so far, I've got about 2k miles on them. Good grip dry, great grip in the rain but they are still brand new. I wanted a hard, high treadwear all season because my car seems to go through front tires at a unusual rate lol, and i have et street drag radials for the track. They are wearing square but I have been abusing them pretty bad. I would get away from staggered sizes if I had a GXP because I hate not being able to rotate my tires normally and end up getting screwy wear on one.
