Anybody have advice for stock '95 grand pix 16" rims?

Hi guys, new member here. I just bought a 1995 grand prix with stock 16" rims. I would like to find a tire that looks a little bit more "agressive" that will fit on the stock rims. It has 225/60/16 tires on it now. I down really want to lower it, but I also would not like to have a huge gap between the tire and wheel well. Anybody switch out for anything a little lower? 55 or 50? Thanks for any reply. Love this little ride just would like it to look a little meaner.

If you don't want a huge gap, I wouldn't drop tire sizes unless you want a bigger rim. If you go to a 17, drop to a 50, 18 a 40 and you'll keep the same wheel gap. If you go 17, you can go with a 55, but it may throw your speedo off by a couple mph.

My roommate has a set of 235/60-16 BFG Traction T/A's on his regal with minimal rubbing issues (only in reverse with the wheel turned all the way one direction). They're a bit wider (which looks more aggressive) and a tad taller (which closes the gap a small amount).

First off which wheels do you have?

You can go 235/60-16 or 235/55-16 (.5" larger dia., .4 smaller dia.). You can also do 245/55-16 (same dia.), but depending on offset, etc. could rub.
