Anybody had a run with an 06+Mustang?

I've seen them run high 13's, low 14's at the track.
I got beat by one about a car's lenght when i had 1.9's and powerlog.
We shall find out.
My neighbor just bought an 07, and is already talking smack.
Will see if he bites.
 


Owned by a mustang.
It was a roush 427 mustang.
I was so wrong about what model he had bought.
Anybody know spec on them, et,hp?
 
haha DAMN. yea gotta watch out for those. idk if it was the 427 but i ran one at the track and it was supercharged. ran a 12.8 at 104. im pretty sure he was letting off cause he dident have the best launch.

i couldent find any damn specs but i did see one part that said it was supercharged so maybe thats the one im thinking of.

was it supercharged??
 
Yeah stock mustangs, not much power to em really, my brother has one, raced it, i won, the v8 gt, anyway the 427 good luck against that tho, i would never dare to try.

But my whine was louder, my lost to a mustang whine.
He got me by about a car and a half till we stop because of traffic.

Im not to sure what they run 1/4 mile but i know its damn fast haha. well and they are a heavier car than ours, match it up to a car same weigh and size it would take it. there an amazing car, search mustang rousche on youtube watch some videos. the one made by rouche is pretty good!
 
He did beat me.
But he came around me slowly.
I could se the reaction on his face.

Yet i'm only pulling slowly away from him, kind of face.
Neatless to say he exited on to the shoulder and got on it again.
Proly pist at me for trying.
 
Don't know about the 427's but the newer GT's with just a CAI, tune, and DR's can run low 13's and some even breaking into 12's with a good driver. So just be weary of them, they definitely respond well to mods.

I raced an old man at the Track when they first came out. It was just a 6speed GT. He was running 14.5 because he kept hitting the rev limiter. I beat him every time. Anything above the regular GT I wouldn't mess with.
 


i saw a guy at the track that couldent even brake into the 14's

the funny thing is while in the stageing lanes he walked by car and looked at me like i was stupid **** b/c i had a grand prix. so i proceded to rev on him while he was walking in front of my car, jackass. well i wish i could have lined up against him because i ran a 14.6 to his 15.0

sometimes i really hate mustang guys.

Most new GT drivers ive seen at the track have had bad reaction times and or dont know how to launch.
