anybody got a puppy?

At the end of last year my parents had to put their 13 year old lab down for health reasons. Now my mom is finally ready to get another dog, so if anyone in the chicagoland or northwest indiana area has a labrador puppy for sale or knows someone who might please post up or pm me. Thanks Larry

I don't live in the area, but how about checking into some of the shelters and rescue organizations. My father and his wife work with Lab Rescue in the Washington DC area, here is their link:

There are tons of animals out there that need a loving home. Just a thought, if your mom isn't looking for a purebred.

Just think of that commercial the Pedigree played for a while. That poor puppy gets all excited, and then he is passed up. Good news is that puppy in the commercial was actually adopted.

It doesn't have to be a pure breed. I started looking, but I thought I would ask here to see if anyone by chance had a litter recently and needed a little extra cash. I still have to check the local animal rescue places, just havn't had time. Thanks for the replies.

check craigslist there's always someone selling or giving away puppy.
