Anybody get this email from Ebay/ Bill Me Later? (possible scam?)

So logged into my email the other day and went through my junk folder because occasionally I have important emails that end up there and this is what I found.

Things that strike me as not being right are:

1) I've never had an Ebay email go to my junk folder in the past

2) It says theyve notified me several times and this is the first I knew of it

3) Ive never used the Bill Me Later feature

4) The amount I "supposedly owe" doesnt add up to anything Ive bought.


Anybody else get this email??? Pretty sure its a scam but want to know what you all think of this.
 


If you continue does it ask you for any personal information?

If so...

most larger companies, probably actually anyone will have you call and contact them to continue instead of giving them info like your bank card#, SSN, bank account #...etc.

Then yeah, it's fraud.
 
sounds like fraud have you even used the bill me later feature? Just like Nick said majority of the time they will call you and not contact you through email.

Never. Dont even know how to use it and I dont like to owe money so I never would use that feature anyway. lol
 


fraud, people out there to make money, if anything it would be paypal cause the bill me later is through them
 
I went to the Contact Ebay tab or whatever and its just like a spot to ask a question and it searches for an answer. Pretty lame that way. Is there another way to find their number?
 
google this with asking is its a scam. im sure that email will turn up bad.

or someone hacked you and they got some new toys at your expense.

I checked like the list of purchased Items on Ebay and it contained only stuff that I bought in the past. Wouldnt it show in there if someone bought something on my account? and ill check google too.
 
I usually just email them and within a day or 2 they email me back unless it's something important they will call my cell. I would contact paypal though since bill me later is through then.

lol. Im not giving them anything. Just want to make sure of this so I dont end up in deep sh!t. haha. But I do believe you but want to check it out a little more.

Ok. Id rather not email back this address cause I dont need to get a virus or something if they send another email.
