im using R1 rotors. dont have any problems with them, i snatched a set of slotted rotors.
 


The only issue I have with the R1 concept rotors is that mine squeel pretty loud after they get hot. I am using the blanks from r1 concepts with hawk pads. I'm eventually going to swap them out for something better.
 
Was going to buy ceramic pads from an online site and this was their response:

"Keep in mind the Ceramic Pads will not handle the heat your car generates. All Corvette's, European cars, trucks and all performance cars run Semi Metallic Brake Pads because they have a higher heat range and friction level."


Is this true?
