i was thinking about getting my blower ported but couldnt really find a detailed write up on removing the casing. can anyone explain the process?

step one post in the right section.
2. remove tb
3. remove fuel rail
4. remove alternator brace
5. remove blower

Make sure you relieve the pressure in the fuel rail before you take it off or it'll spary gas everywhere.

Or leave the injectors and fuel lines connected and just move the rails out of the way while still being attached. My blower has been off the car 3 times and I have yet to disassemble the fuel system.

Yeah that would be alot easier lol.

you also need the 2 little yellow o rings that are also between the blower and lim. you'll see what i am talking about when u pull it off.

^ nice my autozone cant even get me just the blower gasket only way they can get me one is for me to buy a whole topend kit. I have to go to the dealer an pay 12$ for the gasket every time i need one plus an additional 5 or so for the orings

Has nothing to do with the heat of coolant for the car's interior heat, helps the engine run better when cold and warm up faster by heating the incoming air to the engine.
