Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Im trying to do this to a 2" pvc cap (by this i mean put this groove in it).... i have no idea how to do such a perfect groove....

what do u mean a dremel with a guide.... i also thought of a router but then i cant figure out how to set up a guide for that either?

well a router in a table mounted at the right height with the correct bit would do that.

my dremel has a depth guide, like a router.

what are you building?

its part of a retrofit project.... i know how to do the depth guide, but getting a perfect circle is what i prolly cant do

my neighbor had some wood working experience with routers.... ill have to see what he knows.... im not really picturing what you are saying so ill have to see if he can help me visualize it

take a square board cut a circle in the same size as your plug, set a router up to one side, then spin the cap to make the cut/

thats a great idea, in my mind the cap would go in the hole you cut, then hold the router inside the cap, thats in the hole in the board, cut it as close to the edge as you need, hold router in place while pushing up on the cap lightly spin it, perfect depth and thickness needed.
