• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I have looked for hours for a nice standard edition (anteater) grand prix thread. I just want to see one fixed up. I'm sure someone has done it I just can't find any. Anyone here know of any?

Yeah that body style i'll check out the thread. I plan on cleaning up my se and I just was suprised that practically no one fixes these up. It's nice to see some variety. Thanks for linking me to this hope its worth the read ^_^.

oh its a read alright. lol funny but the guy does nice paint work, if not for the graphics and the wing,,,,its not to bad.

Start with replacing the bumper cover, that's where I started on my 2000 SE. Should be painted I a couple weeks.

See man im not about that. Every single nice grand prix I've come across has been swapped to look like a gt. I want to be different and have an se that is actually nice. I know it'll be hard but I definitely think its possible. I've been returning my se to life on the weekends for a few months now. Really need to start a build thread just wanted to see if anyone has tried.

Not sure what you mean by " fixed up ". But if you want to keep it strictly SE wheels and paint is about all I can think of. Maybe a candy apple something different than the typical Gm paint schemes. Mine is an experimental project lol. After I retired my daughter told me to find something to do, an old car to fix up. This one was scraped bumper to bumper so I did all the body work rather than buy replacement parts. I replaced the front bumper cover and the oem spoiler which I can't stand, with one off a 98 Honda Civic, which I'm not completely happy with but anything other than the oem. I removed all Pontiac badges, outside door moldings, did away with the license plate indentation, and shaved the trunk lock. I changed the interior color scheme from all charcoal to black and light grey with duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint, which is something you might think about.Just make it yours use your imagine and have fun with it. Enjoy talking with you.

Somewhere floating around here a guy took a catfish SE that had a 3800 and went turbo. Ultimate sleeper. I have no idea where that thread is though.
