I've got a 2002 pontiac grand prix. I'm planning on replacing the sound system, adding an amp with subs, and also adding in emergency lights (i work EMS). Any one got any suggestions? Advice? can be on what i plan to do or on what i should/could do.

I'd like to point out you should check with your local MTO to see if thats even legal.

That or a police station.

That'd be really easy to wire anyways.

Do a standard relay with switch for lights and 12 V constant boom done.
 
Yea, Its illegal for more than one to be operated in motion, that's what I've been told anyway but if the vehicle's stopped it should be a problem to have them operating all at once
 
Oh fair enough.

Just look into relays for HID lighting kits and that sort of thing and adjust wire length to your needs.
 


aight thanks, any ideas on the sound system? or rather recommendations on brands or whatever. i planned to have them put in by a shop

If you want the shop to do it, the shop will give you decent prices on stuff they carry and have their own preferences.
 


And brand depends on how much you wanna spend!
I have a full system I could sell and install for you, BUT I am in Red Deer Canada..lol
