Any Members from South Dakota?



I think we should have a SD meet in the Black Hills. We could go camping fishing see Mt Rushmore go to Sturgis the list goes on. And there is a drag strip in Sturgis. I would not recommend having it during the rally for obvious reasons last thing we need is a bunch of guys in GP's running over a bunch of huge burly bikers.
 
Anything after August 6th. I should be open. We can do it either in Rapid or Sufu. I know a lot more GP guys around this area "sufu" that would more than likely come and a few 3800 feiro guys.

If my neighbor hood was bigger we could just meet at my house but the ****in streets and kids dont work out.

We could do something gay like. Texas Roadhouse, Thunder Road, then Marion "If we plan the weekends right".
 
I'm down for anything and after Aug 6 would probably work best for me too, as far as the racing goes for me...I would have my 97 gtp and all that has is a CAI so not exactly what I would wanna race with.
 
I vote have it in Sioux Falls. As far as when, I agree sometime middle/late August or maybe even early September depending upon eveyones schedules....

i vote a rough schedule should include the following.....
1. meet at place easy to find from interstate that serves food and booze
2. go kart racing (since there's not much else fun to do in SF besides drinkin in a bar....)
3. group photo someplace cool
4. drag racing in marion


i don't know, just throwing my 2 cents out there i guess. We need to do something , it would be cool to start some sort of regular grand prix meet for the state every summer and the only way is to get the first one in the books!

I told Glanzer i'd get some runs in before the season is over.
I gotz moniez. Let's do this before it's gone lol.
 
I really want to go but its going to depend on my motor swap going smoothly this weekend and then finding time between Dave and mine's busy schedules for him to tune it sometime next week.
 


I'd prefer to go on Sat. night IF i'm able to go. I got the new motor dropped in this weekend, just need to pick up some new vac lines to fire it.
 
So you sold the GTX and traded the powerstroke? And tune his car ^^^^^ lol

I havent owned my GTX for 4yrs. This red car was just a GTP. I have owned 5 gtp's.

About Marion,

You would get more runs in on a Friday Night. And its like 25-30 bucks. Its just heads up racing on Friday.
 


OK. Cool. A friend with a Monte wants to go but he can't go saturday since it's his birthday...so Friday would be ideal for us.

Ahh ok...it all makes sense now lol. So it's just kinda line up and race whoever is next to you?
