antifreeze leak..

Just got a 1997 GTP and almost straight down from the SC nose, its dripping antifreeze! More dripps when cold. Temp is staying around 210. Water pump?? Would Bar's stop leak work??

Don't use that stuff. Just replace your water pump if its your problem. None of the stop leak stuff is good for your car and will not work for a water pump leak anyway.
 


I had the same problem...look and see if coolant is spraying on the firewall...and collecting below the water pump...Sounds like its a water pump...not to bad to do at all, and the part was cheap.

Maybe our admin is messing with what parts of the site unregistered users can and can't access.

Either way, it's a guide to replacing the coolant elbows. Might be worth registering to look at.
