Just bought the car and fixing some of the problems. Driving around i noticed the temp guage climbing so i headed home to see what the deal was. I was low on coolant and could hear a hissing noise from the back right side of motor. Located under the throttle body and back i was thinking head gasket. Checked oil its good and so is my radiator fluid. I let the car idle and stood back and noticed the leak and pin pointed it to this piece close to this donut looking piece lol heres a pic of the leaking area

I am from Willard. close to Mansfield. So i take it they need replaced. You cannot use a product like Blue Devil???

No they need replaced. It's kind of a pain on the 3100 but it's doable. It's close to a $1000 job at a shop.

do i need to replace the uppers as well or can i just get by with the lowers? got a link of a how to?

The kit from autozone has the upper and lower valve covers and thermostat gasket. But you should just replace everything while it's getting done.

Just got done with the LIM and i am getting everything put back on. I forget what this brack is for. It sits to the back right upper plenum heres a pic

i put it on the back right manifold screw because i could not remember where it was and it was the only spot i could think of.... I am also missing one of the screws that are black and on the valve covers. autozone does not have info on it but i was wondering what size it is so that i could buy a replacement???

Got it all back together i got to turn the key over anf the fuel line that screws onto the fuel rail is spraying gas out ... any ideas?

Put some teflon paste on there and hope it seals it up. I'm thinking there is a rubber o ring in there thought that might have torn.

I dont see an oring must of dropped off where foes it sit. Out in front pr behind the sleeve?
