My tires are shot, so I'm looking into replacing my ugly special edition rims when I get new rubber. However, a lot of these websites kinda worry me so I guess I'm looking for a little help.

This is the general style I want, even tho I think most everyone on here hates these :P

do no, i repeat, DO NOT buy a set of staggered wheels. you will rub like crazy in the back and you wont be able to rotate them like you would normally with other wheels/tires.

however, buy bullitts if you want. lots of people have them. they dont look bad, they are just on a lot of peoples cars.

etc. they all sell wheel/tire packages. i actually just bought a set of wheels/tires from wheels next, so we'll see when they actually arrive at my house.
 
I didn't mean to post a link to a staggered set. Definitely not doing that. Thanks man.

Oh and another question. Think anyone would be interested in buying my special edition rims or should I just keep them for winter time?

I like the look of black steel rims more then the stock rims that came with my car even though they were the optional ones that some people want.
 
Yeah I'm not sure what I'm gonna do about my stocks yet. But good news is I may be able to get a great deal on some bullitts. Some family friends just got a mustang with the boss appearance package and he is getting new wheels for it. I haven't seen the pony yet but he said the wheels on it are "an ugly flat grayish nickel color" so I am assuming they are bullitts and the tires only have about 10k on them. So gotta stop by and make sure they are the right size/offset etc. in the next few days.
 


Yeah Im not too sure about them either. Im going to try 1 on before I take them. Ill try to snap a few pics when I do.
 


yeah I know. I think I might just take them cuz i will buy tires for them, and if they are really really ugly it will motivate me to buy something nice in that size.

save the money ud spend on these and buy a nicer set. seriously.
 
Pretty sure he is just going to give them to me. So that's kinda my plan. Ill take them and buy tires for them, cuz I need tires BAD. Because any nice set of rims I buy will be the same size. I am just really hating my special edition rims lately haha

Found a set of rims/tires off a 99 cobra. they are 17x8s been looking for what the offset is. If they will fit without rubbing I am going to buy them instead.

Well, snagged the cobra svt's today. They are getting powder coated saturday and will hopefully be done and ready to roll early next week. I'm excited like a little kid on christmas morning!
