Another pointless HID thread

So I decided to show some pics of my HID's installed (ballasts and pics of the lights at night).

Since I have a GXP my stock fogs are H11's, how is this relevant? It's not. Anyway, I made a custom relay harness for my HID fogs using AC Delco weatherproof relays. One relay is for the HID's in the fogs and the other relay is for the driving lights behind my grill. I made the wiring harnesses myself so everything is crimped, soldered and heat-shrinked and the fuse holder and relays are water-tight.

I mounted the ballasts for the fogs underneath the headlights and used the stock 10mm bolt that holds the headlight holder (piece of black plastic that both headlights slide into) in place, very convenient.

I got lazy and did NOT use a relay harness for the headlight HID's. I have a lifetime warranty on these ballasts and they're meant for plug-and-play so it won't kill me though I DO RECOMMEND ALWAYS USING A RELAY HARNESS FOR HID'S. Do what I say and not as I do. Anyway, I mounted those ballasts in the fenderwell, again a conveniently available hole helped matters a lot.

The results, headlights only:

I do apologize for the ****ty cell phone pics but hopefully this will help people with 04+ GP's looking to install HID's.

ya that the highest you can go before you start loosing light output cuz of the color

I had 10,000K's on my Aurora. It looked good in the projectors but I never liked that excessive blue look in non-reflector housings. I've had 4300K since I purchased the GXP and love the light output.

ya. the only think thats holding me back is figuring something out for my subs cuz they make my headlights dim

You must be pulling hella watts with those subs man. If you use a relay harness you should be good. Or go all out and add a second battery, lol.
