another pioneer head unit question

i just bought a new pioneer cd player from best buy #deh-p7900bt. anyone have this model? the sale guy said it's a 2008 model, but i swear it was last year model cause i was looking at it last summer. the face plate was different than the newer pioneer too. it was on sale for $251 can't pass that up.
 


looking at the pioneer site, and crutchfield (not to mention my distributors) it is a current model, and the price is pretty good for Best Buy (about $25 higher than going rate in my area) they did beat crutchfield pretty well
 
installing it tomorrow. it has built in blue tooth and other fancy stuff that i probably will never use. the regular price was $412.99.

actually when it first got in stores it was priced 499.99, although it is a current model by default (the only reason why is pioneer had so many left, same as the 9800bt that has been out for 3 years now.) the salesman shouldve told you that best buy will no longer be carrying that head unit anymore as stock is non-existant in our wharehouse that we order from, and that is why the price is so low.

they never told me that. it's already installed. right now i'm trying to learn how to use bluetooth phone. i like this model than the 6000
