Another GXP tire question

The previous owner of my 08 GXP put 225/50/18's on all 4 corners. I know the factory fronts are supposed to be 255/45/18's. Is there any mechanical reason I can't run the 225's up front? The tires are brand new and since I just bought the car would like to drive it a while before dropping more coin on it. Thanks.

no reason at all. they did that so they could rotate tires like a normal person.

Ah yes you are correct FFDP. I read that last night and my wandering mind forgot about it. I hit a few bumps this morning and got me thinking about tires again. I should have went back and read through the intro thread. Thanks
