Another GT!

Jsut bought my 3rd GT! It is a '97 Sedan with 180K. This one is in rather rough condition. Some rust showing, the ground effect below the doors was removed, some rust below the gas tank filler area. But it drives straight, stops, etc. Gets MUCH better gas mileage than my Expedition.

I now have a Black '97 GT Sedan, Black '97 GT Coupe, and a Blue '03 GT Sedan Limited Edition.

The coupe and the '03 both have heads-up display. The '97 Sedan has auto temp control with dual controls.

Seems both my '97s have auto dimming rear view mirror issue, ya can't see anything. What do I do about this - any fix? Or do I need to replace them.:th_scratchhead:

Tonight am picking up a fan control resistor for the '03.

I'll have to get a pic of the 3 together, or a few pics. Can't wait to take on of them all looking out of the garage! I just need to have my son(the coupe driver) home for a little bit...

None of these have the polished torque star wheels on them - the wheels I like the most. Maybe I should say they don't have them yet...

My son wants Limited Edition wheels on his, and we are going to look at a set this Saturday, maybe get them for $250-300.

What would a set of Polished Torque Stars cost?

I go the Blower fan resistor installed last night, definitely not a fun job but I think I spent more time looking for my tiny metric sockets than I did replacing it.

Yeah you have to be a skinny dude like me or a contortionist to do it with the seat in there LOL

Polsihed TQ's aren't that bad in price, but most I have ever seen are curb rashed or not taken care of. Ever try craigslist...seems to be good for me...

Ah, must be a bit of a contortionist, it was a pain to get up and down. Except for the time a bug buzzed near my head, I was out of the car standing up before I realized it was not a Bee... It was 9pm and gettting dark. I was outside installing this and the bug was attracted to my LED light.

He saw the Limited Ed wheels on Craigs List. I bought all 3 of my GTs off Craigs List. Just have not seen any TQ's on there yet
