I've been poking around the forums the past few days listening to exhaust clips and reading up....there are some nice systems out there, but its too loud for the area I live in....I come and go all day and night and I don't want to be waking up all the neighbors and having to listen to their $h*t...My question is this: Is there anything out there that is an improvement from the stock exhaust, but still not all that loud? I like the way the stock exhaust on the GTX sounds, but I'm having a hard time finding that exact one. I know SLP makes another one now, but if I am correct it is different than the original....
Would adding a glasspack and keeping the stock mufflers give me sort of what I am looking for. I can't find video's of just the glasspack with stock muffs (I bet there is a reason for that, must not sound too good?) I'd love to be able to just go all out, don't get me wrong, but I need to have some respect for the other people that live around me, I know I wouldn't want to wake up in the middle of the night to hear me coming home from work then leaving again to the next job an hour later.
