• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Another Car wont start thread...

check the fuse box for a blown fuse, if they are all good, then when you drop the tank, you can test for power at the plug for the pump to make sure its getting power.

if you have power, the pump is dead.

Is there a write up on dropping the tank and proper jack stand placement and such? Also is there a way to test power to the pump before dropping the tank

So after a couple hours and a big pain in the ass the got replaced and it starts! 1 issue... The idle is crazy high now. Was not before the pump went out. It idles at 2500

Just incase someone runs across this and it doesn't help..... Another reason why our cars would start then turn off seconds later that i know of is the passlock system we have (if equipped*). The key has a value programed into it, the car has two values it remembers and the key has to be in between to be able to start the car. You would run across this when installing a remote start, and requires a bypass module to trick the car into thinking the key is in using the canbuss wires. So i can imagine a key can get damaged and give you the same problems.
