• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Android = Aeroforce

Got my DROIDX and a KIWI bluetooth adapter. Can't get anything working. No menu on Torque just four displays.

First off it may not support the DroidX right now. Second to bring up the menu the droidx should have a button that will bring up the menu. By looking at the picture of the phone the button on the far left, left of the home button should be your menu button.

Thank you Adam. I didn't understand the Droidx menu button worked on the Torque menu. This is my first ap. I'll try to contact Ian and see what he says about the droidx.

Adam, with some help from you and another good person I think it's working. It seems to work in the garage. I'll try to test it on the road tonight. Thanks.

I am about to purchase a droid X for Verizon. Did you get it working today? What was the end result with KR on the app? Did Ian get the KR part working correctly?

The connection works now. Torque looks OK in the garage. I haven't taken it out on the road yet. KR is supposed to work if you clear and load the correct PIDS. I printed out the instructions (to load the PIDs) and hope to try it tomorrow.

I went partly through the PID process and I was warned that loading PIDs could mess up my PCM. I figured I'd wait until I checked with ZZP.

ZZP doesn't really know the ap and didn't tell me what happens when you load PIDs. Anyone hear have an idea?

Anyway: While driving to work I mamaged to punch the gas a couple of times. The gauges show about 11lbs of boost (3.6) and 33 degrees of timing advance. That's trying to read it as I drive and watch for the law. :)

ZZP says i'll be ok and will NOT screw up my tune by loading extended PIDs. I'll try that first chance I get.

I am excited about this! I was going to buy a pillar pod but didn't like how it would look. I was trying to think were else I could mount gauges but if I buy the Droid X and get this Torque app it might work out even better than anything else. I just wanna make sure everything is working first though.

Is that 33* at WOT or cruising. That is A LOT of timing for boost. Then again I'd check and see if there are any settings that could be giving a wrong reading.

I can't really tell you. I have to test it out when I really have time to watch it better. Once I figure out how to email myself a log I may know more too. And, once I get the new PIDs in I can record KR.

Got my $26 OBDII adapter from China late last week. Just under 2 weeks shipped wasn't too bad. Finally connected it up tonight and used Torque on my Droid Incredible. Worked great! I am going to test a couple of other things and then if all looks good, buy it so that I can get KR numbers. Nice app.

I am more and more impressed by this app. Testing went well today on my GTP, and I even hooked things up to a coworker's 2000 Mustang GT to figure out what his SES light was on for. In good spirit, I will even help the 'Stang owner do some minor work on his V8 to help get rid of the light permanently and idle better. Thanks for a great tool.

Can this app read engine codes? If so then I think we have a cheap aeroforce replacement. Well more of one at least.

i'm unsure whether torque can read/clear codes, but the bluetooth interface will allow you to connect to a computer's program with those capabilities.
