and now my headlights are tinted

Isn't it to have a legal motor vehicle you need two running lights on the front of the car? So that's his fog lights... Honestly, I've seen people driving without headlights and just fogs, and I've done the same (bad alignment on heads) and I haven't gotten any trouble.

They look nice, but I just prefer covers for the ease of taking them on and off.

Thats how I drive around and DRL's are required by law up here.

lilbear, the pink is just pointless. Talk to jess, shes got a 10 second camaro, doesnt look girly at all. I think she has a vette now as well. Again, not girly in any way, but all the more surprising to people when they find out she's the owner/driver.

Black with white is a sick combo, but the pink is just so tasteless. :th_jester:

Come to think of it, where the hell has jess been? Anyone know?

eh u cant judge the looks by one picture. especially since the one he posted wasnt that good to begin with.

and i dont agree with the whole tinting headlights but damn you guys are ruthless with your negative posts lol. honesty is one thing but f*ck i see a lot of hateraid in this thread.
 
just because youre a girl doesnt mean you need to have a girly color all over your car. why didnt you buy a 'mary kay' edition car? either way...

the headlights look OKAY, but i never liked the look of tinted headlights or covers anyway. id rather have a blacked out HOUSING from ebay for like $150. that way you still have clear lenses and they still look mean. how can you argue with these headlights:

There is no hate in my post. Just stating facts. If It was done very lightly with a few drops of automotive black and clear they would probally look good, from the looks of the pic it was done with niteshades, so now his lights also have a red tint to them.
 
For all who dont like my pink...thats fine :) and its not pointless to me matt and i know just cuz im a girl doesnt mean i NEED my car to have girly things but i want it to. I like it and thats really all the matters... u guys do what u like to your cars n im sure not everyone else likes it. jes sayin!
 
Yeah, Im going to supercharge my car and people at work are up in arms since i'm not turboing it.... lets see... 3 grand + versus $600... I wonder.......

I'm telling you, purple.... its better.
 


3 grand into an m90 build would have you a pretty quick car lol. especially when you think you can hit 13's on maybe 1200

I was ACTUALLY going to do purple cuz i had pink n then took it off n started doing purple things but then switched back....i still have purple leds for the dome light....gunna put them in for the hell of it..

Blower, headers, slicks, NIC, L36 = high 12's if you're good at driving. Perhaps another mod or two in there, but thats the gist of it.

i dont know how you get away with that the cops around here would eat you alive. and it wouldnt matter if you got into an accident if it was the other persons fault if you had that in PA it would be your fault. even if the other person was drunk. dont yell at me, i know its ridiculous
 
okay first off...its your car & you can do whatever you wanna do to it, which u did
& second, i think it looks good =)
 
It's actually against DOT standard and any accident will be stated as his fault for having a faulty vehicle on the road. Several people in IN have done this to their cars and the couple I know that were in accidents when the other insurance company showed up to investigate had it proved against them. One was given a ticket for the headlights, a fix it ticket and a DOT violation ticket.

I wouldn't recommend it, but if it makes you happy do it.
 
My friends do this all the time. it looks sweet and at night just take come break cleaner and its gone. I love when people always say "you need to buy new lights now" no just take some break cleaner to them if you dont like them, no big deal?
