I've been wanting to get a gun (handgun/shotgun) for a while now. Started looking into building an AR-15, because I could get a lower cheap.... but after all said and done, it was close to $1500. Once I get a little further outta debt, I'll probably go purchase a springfield armory XD-9 5" barrel.

But when/if **** hits the fan... it aint going to be pretty. Thinking we'll be a socialist nation by then anyways :th_laugh-lol3:

Basically its storage at the moment keeps i there safe i mean you dont keep 80k in gold at your house
he gets the gold scrap and melts it down forms bars and take them to the bank when **** starts to get bad he will go and get it

There will be at least a month or 2 of mre and freeze dried foods grains and rice as well
along with gardening stuff no hybrid stuff just heirloom type veggies and sprouts and hunting of course a **** load of ammo and some other basics in a protected area

lanterns gas camping stoves solor powered stuff a water filter solor powered batery charger a few flashlights a emergency radio 2 way radios as well as a cb
A deisel gennie and so on house will be on a peice of land where i can see people coming a long way off and i wont hesitate to protect my self a decent scoped rifle will helpp with that
 
there's no way our capitalistic democracy would cave unless there's a revolution. we'd be thrown into the american revolution 2.0. there's already militias formed/ing, you're off to a late start my man. our middle class is slowly deteriorating, thus leaving the rich and the poor. the rich are gonna hire the poor to form militias[if they already haven't...] in support of conservative ideals masked as liberal, leading to a new representation of chinese government where it's supposed communist/socialist regime has only one jurisdiction of political power leaving us with no way to keep the shot-calling in check. you just wait, we'll be like a baby, force-fed, sucking the teet of the rich.

i just remembered my dream from a few weeks ago, and it was about the end of the world:
im running around and theres like tornadoes and tidal waves going every where and ****. i find a town where its safe and i post up camp there. but for some reason i decide i need to go find a reallly nice car to take and drive before i die... so i run into a neighborhhood and i find a lambo murc i drive thaat for a while and then i go to a church. since its a holy place none of the stroms and **** can reach/destroy it. so i stay there for a while with a bunch of others and pray. thats all i can remember.
the dream was actually a fun one, i wasnt really scared or anything

but a while ago i had another dream and it was actuallly freaky, i was at school and i didnt want to die there and i felt like i needed to go say bye to everyone i knew...:(
 


my ****iest drems envoolve my cars getting jacked i like the dreams that take me out

Hey im not doing the militia thing either though thats to extreme but dont think i cant pick someone off at 300 yards with the right equipt
when not if things fail and riots start and **** cause thats how it will start is withdrawl of state funded programs such as police and **** then riots roll in and its a free for all any chance of survival will be in numbers and in seclusion
 
It's not as far out as you you may think. See: Argentine economic crisis (1999–2002). There are many similarities to where we are going. Giant foreign debt, printing money like there's no end. North Korea could hit us with an EMP. A complete collape of Mexico could happen. A little preperation can't hurt.
 
Nope it cant and there will be a lot of sheeple that fail to plan and end up with out

At first i was just joking but then the more i looked into this **** I would rather be prepared at least as much as i can

My one worry as stupid as it sounds is government triing to seize land of those who dont follow what is left cause i se eit as gov against people and then you have the rioter who dont care either way it will be a way of life noone is used to or prepared for

...You should be able to build a reliable basic AR for close to half that... use the left over money for ammunition and magazines.
"Ammunition will be the currency of choice in the 21st century"
 


im getting a **** ton of 22lr and 9mm and 30-06 and 12 gauge shels i mean a **** ton lol if nothing happens ill have an awesome time burning threw the rounds
 
Just thought I'd bring this thread back to life to say "We're still here." But I think we are closer than ever to failure.
