AN Fuel Line Setup

I gave the hard line adapters some serious consideration until I ran across AN quick connect/disconnect adapters and I figured at that point why not just go tank to rail and be done with it. Maybe unnecessary but it would be a good project.

seems you have ALOT of "good projects"

:D

You dont know the half of it really.

i keep on coming up with "good projects" too

first it was the hud relocate, then the overhead dic mod, then the deepen console pocket, now it's the ipod dock (slowly coming along) and the ignition saver plug-in mod.... and if i do the led tails, the plug-in resistor mod

sheesh!

Thats why this forum was started. To foster that kind of thinking and not only to get it going to a point of completion but a place for them to reap the rewards of their work if they so choose to do.

to answer your previous question about the filter. if you wanted you could use a quick disconnect on that, and use the NPT to AN adaptor fitting on the opposite side...

but I would just use the optional AN filtr systems....IMO..they work better..

Yeah, I was thinking about it yesterday in fact and I think I'll dump the OEM filter and go with a AN filter because you can get better filtration with them. Not that I have ever had a fuel related issue but no need to see where the limit is.

Well I look at it like this. Im going to yank out the factory plumbing to improve upon it and to perhaps make it safer. So why not make it cleaner too?

Where would I put these filters at. One in the OEM spot and one just before it enters the rails? I dont think I have ever seen a dual filter set up on a fuel system before. It would go right a long with my dual oil filter set up and when I get it back together, my dual tranny filter set up. I see a theme developing here.

on all the aftermarket fuel pump setups I have always seen 2 fuel filters....100micron before the pump, and 10micron after. I woud do the 100micron back where the factory location is and have the 10micron located up by the firewall somewhere.

hey, your right on the theme!!!!

2 oil filters
2 fuel filters
soon to be 2 gp's.....

and if you take it a bit farther....

goin on 2nd tranny...

MEWAHAHHAHAHA!!!
