Using my stock deck to add a sub using a LOC just wondering where the remote wire should be connected on the stock wiring harness (non bose)
2005 GTP

Sorry for the post in the wrong spot for the post but though id get a quicker response here

Humm, If i was you I would just tap into something that has power in the ignition position.

There should be a purple wire off of the deck if i'm not wrong that you can tap into. That should give you what you want.

It 's for the radio on signal, that is the only wire on the diagram that i can see will work. And yes it will work on an 05 that is what the diagram is for.

Hey thx im in the middle of doing it..... Only getting 9.4v max there at the harness and amp.... light is on the amp so ill give it a shot

If the converter needs power, run it off of your remote wire. Did you make sure everything has power? Then just use your speaker wires and tap into them and hook those to the converter.

Found this "in your pass kick panel there is a large group of wires, its the larger of the yellow ones that are there. will shut your amp off when you open your door" in another thread. Do you know if this works with 04+?

Thx again I ended up getting it to work with the Re Q, I know it was stupid expensive but it works so I'm done with it. Just had to wire the Re Q properly.... First time I wired it I didnt read the instructions completly.

Just get the pac interface, way cheaper and those are plug and play I beleive.
Edit, here's the link

I just tried that, the RCA's work fine, but you have to tap a wire for the blue/white remote on.. It doesn't work by default.

And as the OP said, I tried that purple wire, it's only hitting somewhere around 5 volts.. :( I have a post going too. I could tap that bundle going to the passenger door if it will work... Anyone have some insight?

I have the exact same car...

the orange is the 12v that i had to use!! but it is a constant 12v so u have to get a on/off switch to use this!! other than that ur LOC wires should be coming from the +/- of the rear mid! maybe try grounding ur LOC??
