• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I'm trying to get my low beams to work again. I have aftermarket head lights with halos and projectors for low beams and have HIDS in fogs, highs, and lows I also have relay harnesses for all of them. I've had this setup for a while. Two weeks ago I had my lows just stop working and took a look the next day to find that my relays had gotten water in them and caused a big amount of corrosion. My high beams worked fine but that relay was also screwed so I bought 2 new relays and put them in, I also changed the fuses in the harness for the hell of it. I found that the harness connection had a lot of corrosion build up in it so I sprayed it down with electrical cleaner and tried to wire brush it but the connections are tiny and I have nothing to get in there. So now I'm trying to figure out why it still won't work so I jump the relay harness (if your familiar with them they have a number 87 and 30 on it that I jumped, if your holding it while reading the diagram its the top and bottom connectors) and the low beams turned on just fine. I didn't keep it that way long as I was just testing it. Now when I put the relay back in it still doesn't work, so I tried to just slightly angle the tabs in different directions to produce a strong connection thinking maybe the connections inside the harness had loosened but still doesn't work. I have as well switched all relays back and fourth and swapped high and low ballistics and lows turned on fine but then highs didn't work. Am I missing something here? I believe I found where the issue is but no matter what I try to fix it I still can't get it work.... Is there anyway to pull the connections out of the end of the harness and clean them up?

No one still? Well I'e had no luck with it so I got a few videos I'm hoping that you'll watch and be able to help me out with this. Still the same **** going on. All my other lights work fine and turn on just fine but my low beams will not turn on. I pulled the harness apart and pulled the connections out and cleaned them up more so that shouldn't be an issue anymore. Someone on another forum mentioned it could be the switch leg but I'm not quite sure so let me know.

Mike..I missed it the first time. I should be in the garage tonight/tomorrow or this weekend if you want....stop over and it's probably something pretty quick.

Well I played with it more today and grabbed and extra light someone had and plugged it into the factory socket and it had both high and lows so I guess I'm going to just pull the wiring harness and inspect the entire thing as it has to be the issue. lol Thanks though Bill. I'll come up some time and show you whats been done to the car so far!
