• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Am I missing anything on this cam install shopping list?

I think I will end up going with the XPZ with 150# and a new stock chain from GM and new GM Lifters... just not sure which lifters, I don't know if you can throw in LS7 lifters which would be ideal. I hear and read many band things about comp lifters.

150's and an XPZ are gonna obliterate that stock chain.

Just run an XP or S1X with 105's.

Seriously.

Hell, even Trannyman Dave and Reptile ran 130's with a stock chain. It's doable. Just don't go dropping the idle low or shifting super dumb high.

BillBoost ran S1X, 130#, 1.8 rockers on top with a JP single. If I were doing it over..I'd go stock or double roller. If you go double roller, read up as to why they snap (deflection) and you'll see how to fix it with chamfer before you install.

That was in the Bonnie right? what about 1.7 rockers? I have the s1x and 1.7's sitting in my basement both used with 16k on them. I currently have 105# on the heads.

So I got all this fun stuff.. Did I miss anything? I might install a Meth kit after I do a little more trans work. I was think of buying a trans core and building my own trans with the TEP stage 2 kit.

3.2 pulley
Intense racing stage 2 blower cam
60# injectors.
AEM WB,
Trans PCS and frictions/steels
Cam Bolt
Timing cover gasket
LIM gaskets

Timing Chain
(not pictured TEP shift kit)

Reading around the trans threads.. do i need this for my 2005 GT?

You missed coolant elbows, and if that's a double roller, make damn sure you fix the chamfer and consider a milled pump cover.

You don't need a hardened 4th shaft. 2005 has the new part in it.
