Am I loosing 2nd Gear???

I have a 02 Grand Prix GT with 173,000 miles. I had the PCS replaced a few weeks ago because the trans was slamming into gear with a P1811 code and I did a pan drop also. The trans was shifting fine after the PCS was replaced. Now a few days ago I go to press on the accelerator from a stop and the car revved up to about 4000 RPM until the trans shifts into the next gear. Its been revving up to 4000 RPM from a stop for a few days now. I had the car scanned at a trans shop and no codes came up. Am I really loosing 2nd gear? The other gears shift fine. How long does these trannys last because I had the trans completely rebuilt 75,000 miles ago and if Im really loosing 2nd then is it time for 2nd rebuilt?

You shouldn't lose second.. but simply swapping a pcs won't always fix a 1811. Because the issue is often the clutch pack tolerance. Stock packs being replaced can have that much slop in them. An experienced builder will clearance the packs.
 
So your opinion is that replacing the clutch packs will fix my issue with trans revving to 4000 RPM?
