Lastnight bringing the gtp home i was infront of my wife driving my crownvic
she was on my arse most of the way so when we hit open clear road i went to step on it and play a little and as my foot went for the gas i saw the out line of a light bar i had a chp and a sheriff behind me My crownvic was a few cars behind them
That would have been fun to explain

Similiar situation a few weeks ago. Cruisin' about 75 mph on I-75 (major freeway) just before dawn and I see that I'm about to be passed on the right which is a major pet peeve on mine. I'm seconds from nailing it to the floor to teach the guy a lesson and he FLIES by me. It was a State Trooper in an unmarked Dodge Charger SRT8.:eek:

O wow! I had something like that happen about two weeks ago! I was getting on the freeway and here the speedlimit is 70 so I go 75..well about 10min later I see a car flying up on my butt im in the right lane so im like umm..okay waiting on them to get over..they just ride my ass so im like umm I don't see lights only one way to find out if its a cop..I floor it I let out at about 90 and slow down just as the COP in a unmarked car passes me looks over at me and pretty much boxes me in between him a big truck until I have to slow down to 70 then he lets me over and I speed back up to 75 passing him..I figure if he wanted to pull me over he had his chance and he didnt! So I go on and get off at my exit pulled over at our local McDonalds to get a movie from Redbox guess who pulls in behind me! He does this slow driveby strange stalker look and I just smile and wave at him! I guess im lucky..but still if your going to ride my ass pull my hair or pull me over!
 


lucky man. me and my son besides a gt maybe 98 model. he scoots out and i just take off normal, it shifts into 2nd and i hit it, just for a second. then the heuytown cop car blips his siren. my son says "un huh, keep it up". cop flies by and i wipe my pants, this happen this past weekend. we got several lucky folks here.
 
well, I got "away" with something the other day. not on a highway or anything but the light close to work in town is a stupid one, have to be careful cuz the yellow does not last long and there are red light cameras. Anyway, as I get to the stop line it turns yellow, I punch it cuz to late to break and I know about the cameras so I "hurry" through and on cross road in the right turn lane (to turn on the road I am on and continue in same direction) I notice as I squeeze through a cop car, not sure if stopped or turning, sitting there, "oh crap" I think checked my mirror for the first block, but no cop, he must have been there doing something else, radar gun maybe or something to that effect.

I swear I had the exact same thing happen to me on the same freeway. :p

Our State Troopers are pretty sneaky, especially up north where the woods are pretty much up the shoulders of the freeways. I've seen spots cleared out along the sides where they'll park and wait... the trees are so thick there's no way you'd see them before they see you.
 
In florida, if the cop knows you have altittle something under the hood he will do 1 of 3 things.

#1 Follow you until you break the law.

#2 Outright pull you over if he catches you speeding.

#3 Try to race you. (It has happened! stop light at 3am!)

#3 my dad had a run in with that when he was younger the cop caught him street racing and was going to give him a ticket for it, the cop offered if he won he woudn't give him a ticket, but my dad knowing what they would do if he did win said no (if he won they would have got him for evading police or at less tryed)
