All I Can Say is: AWESOME, New Chevy Concepts

Hippo Machine

Because Wet Leaves
Chevy's Compact Coupes - Fox News Video - Fox News

These two new Coupes were unveiled at the NAIAS recently and both look like great sporty, affordable cars.

Good luck GM! (I love both wheel styles, and I really like the Tru140S)

bottom one looks like a new saturn ion. top one could be fun, but even if they go into production theyll be butchered. yay.

So Chevy's Idea is to remake the Honda Civic Si... and let a SS Maro rape a poor little Maxda RX-8 and made it keep the baby.

For reference to the Civic Si

So much fail... I weep for the future of GM

Top one kinda reminds me of the new style Fiesta. Not quite sure why but that's the first thing I thought of when I saw it.
Second one has some Camaro styling in it if you ask me....the front styling just whispers Camaro.

Like Odi said though, they have the looks to be fun little cars. Just hope they don't ruin them....

Theres a video in the link the bottom one is supposed to be like a smaller more affordable camaro type car, and the top is just really cool haha.

Both have the 4 cylinder turbo. The Code is rwd and Tru is fwd.

GM needs to step away from the import styling and back to the big, gas guzzling, bad ass, iconic american stying of years past if they want to sell cars.

Leave the battery powered cars as toys.

That front end is horrible. Chevy needs to knock that **** off. The 2013 Colorado has that same stupid front end and it's hideous.

I don't want to see anymore new cars until they come up with something that gives me wood like this thing does.

**** you cars of today.

GM wants to make global cars.

Not one for each market.

They need to capture the global market, not just the american one.

They can market it globally, but please quit shoving the same grill and front end on each car you offer in America.

....isn't that the formula that cost GM sales every year for the past 3 decades or so? People on car forums need to stop looking at the market from a handful of car enthusiasts' point of view. The unfortunate reality is that there is no market for gas guzzlers today, only trendy little "battery power cars", thus why those cars have crushed GM sales for many years now. This is just their weak attempt at interpreting what the popular trends are. What GM needs to get back to is SETTING the trends rather than pathetic attempts at following them.

Both are stupid.

Agreed. The TRU looks like a Scion TC took an open-palm uppercut to the nose. Not to mention, a big fat grill on a car that's supposed to have sleek lines does not flow what so ever. The CODE looks like a 7 year old tried to draw the new Camaro. Mega fail on both cars, at least from a design standpoint.
